Journalism/Public Relations freelance writer
OneMedNews is looking for a go-getter freelance writer to conduct interviews and write stories for the OneMedNews Sentinel, a biweekly e-newsletter focused on the healthcare and life sciences industry. Must be interested in covering healthcare, finance and biotech. Will also help with marketing and other writing, editing and administrative tasks for various projects and healthcare investment events that the company is involved in throughout the year. The best candidate will have experience and an interest in networking and attending various healthcare conferences in order to get contacts and leads for various stories or projects.
OneMedMarket is a New York-based life science and healthcare research and investor communications firm providing business development services to emerging growth companies and identifying investment opportunities for healthcare investors. The company does communications for smaller healthcare and biotech companies and is also involved in various healthcare investment events throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Great networking skills, with a go getter approach to finding contacts and getting stories
- Solid writing background, editorial experience preferred
- Outgoing personality or passion for reporting, willing to network, attend events, communicate with high level management and executives
- Flexible schedule and/or set up to work remotely
- Organized and detail oriented
- Some background in healthcare, biotech or finance or a sincere willingness to learn
